Having received a call into the ministry at the age of 22, Pastor Haynes began training at Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Florida. He finished his formal training at Oral Roberts University, receiving a degree in Theology with a minor in Christian Education. Pastor Haynes was then called to be an assistant pastor at Word of Faith World Outreach Center and Family Church in Dallas, Texas where he served for four years and was sought out for his teaching on the Holy Spirit. In 1989, Pastor Haynes became Senior Pastor at Calvary Christian Center and served there for 25 years seeing a multitude of lives transformed by coming to know the fullness of God through his preaching, teaching and exhortation of the Word of God.

 

His desire continues to be a ministry to equip and prepare individuals for a Spirit-filled,  Spirit-led, and Spirit-empowered life as evidenced in the quickly growing new church that he has planted in Lewisville, Texas.  His greatest passion is making disciples and preparing them for the endeavors that God has called them to fulfill.
